Becoming an SMP artist.
Here at East Coast Hair Ink, we offer two training packages. So if you're looking at becoming an SMP artist or want an exciting career change, or even need coaching or consulting to help set up your new SMP business, I am here to help!
Package #1 - Basic Fundamentals Course
This course is to suit someone who hasn't completed any prior training in SMP and would like to be Mentored by me. This course will cover everything from:
- Training on how to perform SMP on live and dummy models using various techniques I have mastered to suit all individuals' hair loss.
- Breakdown of how to use the right tones for different colour skins.
- Creating unique hairlines to suit all types of looks
- Hygiene requirements
- Theory training
- 1:1 consultation for anything you feel you may require extra assistance with
- Getting clients, marketing training and coaching
- We offer a complete 360 solution for your SMP training, so you can have the confidence to pursue your new career; also always available for coaching once you have made the change.
This is offered in 1:1 or small group training. This package will also include a starter kit which will consist of the following:
- Tattoo Machine
- Needles
- Inks
- Clippers
- Basic Hygiene requirements
Package #2 - SMP Business Growth Package
This course is for someone who has had training and would like to further expand on their experience and knowledge with SMP. This course will go in-depth on your current knowledge and skill set. This package will be tailored depending on your current needs, which could include:
- SMP Business consulting and set up
- Sales coaching and training to help secure bookings
- Marketing and social media strategy
- Refining your work and technique
- Refresher course to help expand your knowledge with the techniques I have learnt over the years from international artists
